Guardian Fall Protection – Product list

Safety harnesses for different tasks

The Guardian 2-Point Safety Harness covers straightforward fall arrest, while the 4-Point Safety Harness and 4-Point with Shoulder Pad add work positioning capability alongside fall arrest. The Xplorer 4-Point Harness and Rescue Safety Harness extend into rescue and rope access applications, where an additional attachment point is needed beyond standard fall arrest.

Fall arrest blocks: webbing, rope and wire

The Checkmate FABX1 and FABX2 fall arrest blocks are available in galvanized wire, stainless wire, or Dyneema rope and webbing, letting you match the block to the corrosion resistance and abrasion demands of the job. For lighter, more compact needs, the AtomX Mini Fall Arrest Block gives the same fall arrest function in a smaller unit. Offshore environments are covered by the FABX2 OS Offshore Block, built for the additional demands of marine use.

Lanyards and connectors

Guardian's shock absorbing lanyards come in single and double leg configurations, with a choice of steel or aluminium scaffold hooks, snap hooks and karabiners as end fittings. For restraint applications rather than fall arrest, the LR Fall Restraint Lanyard and LRT Twin Leg version keep the worker from reaching a fall hazard at all, rather than arresting a fall already in progress.

Confined space and rescue equipment

The TR3 Confined Space Tripod, paired with a worm gear winch, provides an anchor point and retrieval system for confined space entry work. The FABXLR Fall Arrest Recovery Block combines fall arrest with a built-in rescue winch, letting a single device both stop a fall and assist recovery afterward.

Stronghold tool tethering

Working at height means tools can fall as easily as people, so the Stronghold range covers tool tethers, wrist straps, belt adapters and pouches designed to keep tools secured to the worker rather than at risk of dropping. This includes options like the Bungee Tool Tether for everyday tools and the Wire Retractable Tool Tether for a more compact, retracting connection.

Standards and compliance

Guardian fall protection equipment is designed to meet EN 361 for full body harnesses and EN 355 for shock absorbing lanyards, alongside relevant fall arrest block and connector standards. Stronghold tool tethering products meet ANSI/ISEA 121, the US standard for tool tethering systems used at height.

Frequently Asked Questions

A 2-point harness covers straightforward fall arrest with a dorsal attachment point. A 4-point harness adds side D-rings for work positioning, letting the wearer work hands-free while anchored, in addition to fall arrest protection.
Galvanized wire suits general use, stainless wire adds corrosion resistance for wet or marine environments, and Dyneema rope or webbing gives a lighter option with high strength for applications where reduced weight matters.
Tool tethering secures hand tools to the worker or a fixed point, preventing them from falling and injuring people or damaging equipment below. It's increasingly a site requirement wherever tools are used above ground level.
A fall arrest lanyard includes a shock absorber to reduce force during a fall that has already started. A restraint lanyard has no shock absorber and instead prevents the worker reaching the fall hazard at all, so no fall occurs.
A confined space tripod provides an anchor point positioned directly over an entry point, such as a manhole, paired with a winch for controlled worker descent, ascent or emergency retrieval during confined space entry work.
