Founded in Willenhall, Staffordshire in 1780, Henry Squire & Sons Ltd is the world's most experienced padlock manufacturer. The company supplied locks to the British Army during the Napoleonic Wars and developed the first lever padlocks shortly after, going on to supply locks across the British Empire. Eight generations later, Squire remains independent and family owned, with current owner John Squire continuing the tradition of British lock making.

Squire Stronghold solid steel padlocks

The Squire Stronghold range is the brand's flagship security line, built from solid steel bodies with closed or open hardened boron alloy shackles. Models such as the SS80S 80mm closed shackle carry the CEN6 rating, the highest European insurance grade for padlocks. These locks are specified for high value asset protection on yards, plant compounds, container doors and commercial premises where insurance compliance is required.

Squire combination padlocks

  • Squire CP40/2.5: a 4 wheel combination padlock with a 40mm body and extra long 63mm shackle, suitable for hasps, lockers and gates where extra clearance is needed.
