Wiha Tools, a world-renowned German hand tools manufacturer, was established in 1939 by Willi Hahn in Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia. The company name is derived from his initials.

In 1943, the headquarters were moved to Schonach im Schwarzwald. Initially, the company produced nuts and bolts, but by 1947, they had expanded to manufacturing screwdrivers. Over the subsequent years, Wiha developed other core product lines. In 1966, they acquired a plant in Mönchweiler, Black Forest, which now produces blades and L-keys. In 1985, Wiha established a subsidiary in the USA, known today as Willi Hahn Corp.

Wiha continued to grow internationally, setting up branches in France, Spain, England, Denmark, Poland, China, and Vietnam, followed by expansions into Thailand, Canada, and the Asia Pacific region.

Wiha is a leading global manufacturer of professional hand tools for trade and industry, known for their slogan, "Tools that work for you." Their catalog boasts 3,500 different hand tools, including screwdrivers, torque wrenches, L-keys, bits, pliers, hammers, and measuring tools. The company, still family-owned, employs 750 people worldwide.

Based in the scenic Baden-Württemberg region, Wiha has earned numerous awards for product design, innovation, and social commitment, including nearly 20 iF awards (with a gold for the Wiha magazine bit holder) and about 10 Red Dot Awards (including the "Red Dot Best of the Best").
