Caulking & Sealant Guns
Powered caulking and sealant guns - cordless applicator guns that drive silicone, sealant, decorators caulk, construction adhesive and filler out of a cartridge at the press of a trigger, for a smooth consistent bead with none of the hand strain of a manual gun. This is the collection for kitchen and bathroom fitters, glaziers, decorators, joiners and site trades who apply sealant and adhesive all day and want neater results with far less fatigue.
The range is built around battery-powered guns from the leading platforms, handling standard cartridges and, on some models, larger foil and sausage packs. Features across the collection: variable-speed triggers for precise bead control, high thrust force for stiff adhesives and cold sealant, anti-drip and auto-reverse to stop oozing when you release the trigger, and capacity for 300ml to 600ml cartridges to cover most sealant and adhesive jobs.
Brands in this collection include Bosch, Einhell, Batavia and DeWalt.

Caulking & Sealant Guns – Product list
Powered caulking and sealant guns at MTN Shop UK
Anyone who has spent a day applying sealant with a manual skeleton gun knows the ache it leaves in the hand and forearm - and how hard it is to keep a neat, even bead when your grip tires. A powered caulking and sealant gun solves both problems: a motor drives the plunger at a steady, controlled rate at the press of a trigger, so the bead stays consistent from the first cartridge to the last, and your hand does almost none of the work. This collection brings together cordless caulking and sealant guns from the leading tool brands, for trades and serious DIY users who apply a lot of sealant, adhesive or filler.
Why choose a powered caulking gun
- Consistent bead: the motor delivers an even flow, so the sealant line stays smooth and uniform rather than surging and thinning as a hand grip tires.
- Far less fatigue: stiff sealants and construction adhesives are hard work through a manual gun; a powered gun removes the effort, which matters over a full day of work.
- Better control: variable-speed triggers let you set the flow rate precisely, and anti-drip or auto-reverse functions pull the plunger back slightly when you release the trigger to stop the product oozing out and making a mess.
- More thrust for tough products: powered guns generate high push (thrust) force, so they handle stiff construction adhesives and cold, viscous sealant that a manual gun struggles with.
Cartridge and pack types
Sealant and adhesive come in different container formats, and the gun must match:
- Standard cartridges (around 310ml): the most common format for silicone, decorators caulk and many adhesives - fits most caulking guns.
- Foil and sausage packs (400ml to 600ml): larger, lower-waste packs used for high-volume work; some guns take these with the right carriage. The DeWalt DCE581N, for example, handles 300ml to 600ml.
- Check the gun's capacity: before buying, confirm the gun accepts the cartridge or pack size you use most, and whether a separate carriage is needed for foil packs.
What to look for
- Thrust force: higher thrust handles stiffer products - important if you apply construction adhesive or work in cold conditions where sealant thickens. The Bosch GCG 18V-600 is a higher-output professional example.
- Variable speed: lets you match the flow to the bead width and your working speed for a neat finish.
- Anti-drip / auto-reverse: stops the product continuing to flow after you release the trigger, keeping the work clean.
- Battery platform: cordless guns run on a brand's battery system - the Einhell TE-SG on Power X-Change, the Bosch GCG on Bosch Professional 18V, the Batavia MAXXPACK on Batavia's 18V system, and the DeWalt DCE581N on DeWalt XR. The Batavia MAXXPUSH is an entry-level gun running on 6V AA batteries with an LED light.
- LED light: some guns include a work light to illuminate the joint - useful in cupboards, corners and poorly lit spaces.
Applications
- Silicone sealant: sealing around baths, showers, sinks, worktops and tiling in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Decorators caulk: filling gaps around skirting, architrave, coving and frames before painting.
- Construction and grab adhesive: bonding panels, trims, boards and fixings where a stiff, high-thrust product is needed.
- Frame and glazing sealant: sealing window and door frames against weather.
- General building sealant: expansion joints, weatherproofing and gap filling on site.
Typical users are kitchen and bathroom fitters, glaziers, window and door installers, decorators, joiners, and general builders - anyone whose day involves running a lot of sealant or adhesive.
Cordless convenience
Because these guns are cordless, they go wherever the work is - up a ladder, in a bathroom, across a site - with no lead to trail. If you already own batteries for one of these platforms, a bare-unit gun shares batteries with the rest of your kit, so you only pay for the gun. If not, factor in a battery and charger, or choose a gun on a platform you already run.
Care and tips
- Clean the nozzle after use: wipe the gun and remove part-used cartridges' nozzles, or reseal them, so the product does not cure inside and clog the tip.
- Release pressure between uses: use the anti-drip or reverse function so the plunger is not left pushing on a cartridge, which can cause oozing and waste.
- Match the product to the job: use the correct sealant or adhesive for the surface and conditions, and follow the product's cure and temperature guidance.
- Store cartridges correctly: keep sealant within its shelf life and away from frost for best flow and adhesion.
