Cordless Kits
We sell cordless kits from Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Bosch, Einhell, HiKOKI and Panasonic, spanning 12V and 18V battery platforms in twin, triple and larger multi-tool configurations.
A cordless kit puts you on a single battery platform from day one, with batteries and a charger shared across every tool in the set rather than bought separately per tool. This is usually the most cost-effective way to start or expand a cordless toolkit, and it locks in the ecosystem you'll likely keep buying into as you add more tools later.

Comparing the major platforms
Each brand's kit range reflects a slightly different priority. Makita's LXT and CXT ranges, including the DLX2131TJ and CLX224AJ, cover one of the widest tool ecosystems on the market. DeWalt's XR and FlexVolt kits, such as the DCK266P2 and DCK2033X2, extend into higher-voltage 54V tools on the same battery. Milwaukee's M12 and M18 FUEL™ kits are built around brushless motor performance across a similarly broad tool range. Einhell's Power X-Change kits offer a lower-cost entry point onto a shared battery platform for occasional or home use.
12V vs 18V platforms
12V kits, including the Makita CLX224AJ/CLX228AJ and DeWalt DCK2110L2, are compact and lighter, suited to everyday tasks, tight spaces and users who don't need maximum power. 18V kits, the majority of the range, carry more power for demanding site and trade work, and remain the standard choice for most professional cordless setups.
Twin packs vs larger multi-tool kits
A twin pack, the most common format here, covers a combi drill and impact driver, the two tools most people reach for first. For sites needing more from day one, DeWalt's DCK305P2T Triple Kit and the 6 and 7-piece kits (DCK623P3, DCK664P3, DCK690P3T, DCK694P3, DCK755P3T) bundle a broader tool set onto one battery platform, working out cheaper than buying each tool separately over time.
Choosing your platform
Since later tools from the same brand and voltage are typically sold as bare units once you own the batteries and charger, the platform you choose now shapes what you'll buy going forward. Consider which brand's specific tools you're most likely to need long-term, not just which twin pack looks cheapest today.
Standards and compliance
Power tools sold as part of these kits comply with IEC 62841, the international safety standard for hand-held power tools, and carry CE and UKCA marking confirming they meet the relevant EU and UK safety requirements. Included batteries and chargers meet the relevant IEC 62133 battery safety standard.
