Hose Reels

Discover our range of hose reels from Hozelock and Flopro, covering wall mounted, freestanding, cart-based and automatic reel systems in capacities from 10m up to 90m.

A hose reel keeps a garden hose neatly wound and ready to use, protecting it from kinking, sun damage and tangling compared to leaving it coiled loose on the ground. Choosing the right reel depends on how much space you have, whether you want it fixed or mobile, and how much hose you need to store.

Hose Reels – Product list

Wall mounted reels

Wall mounted reels, such as the Hozelock 2390 60m and 2475 60m, fix permanently to a wall, keeping the hose off the ground and out from underfoot in a fixed location. The 2496 Wall Mounted Fast Reel comes complete with 40m of hose included, avoiding the need to buy the reel and hose separately.

Freestanding reels

Freestanding reels, like the Hozelock 2398 60m and 2410 30m Compact, don't need wall mounting, useful for gardens where a fixed wall position isn't practical or where the reel needs to move around the garden with you.

Hose carts

Hose carts, such as the Hozelock 2460 90m Metal Cart and 2437 60m Metal Cart, add wheels to the reel, letting you move a full length of hose around a larger garden without carrying it or leaving a fixed dispensing point. The 2435 and 2436 both come pre-assembled with hose included, ready to use out of the box.

AutoReels for automatic rewind

AutoReels, including the Hozelock 2595 40m and Mobile Auto Reel 35m, rewind the hose automatically under spring tension rather than needing to be wound by hand, speeding up putting the hose away after use.

Compact and mini reels

For smaller gardens, balconies or patios, the Hozelock Pico 10m Reel and Micro Hose Reel give a compact footprint suited to shorter hose lengths and tighter storage spaces.

Hose hangers

For a simpler, lower-cost storage option, hose hangers like the Hozelock 2362 Single Hose Hanger and Flopro Garden Hose Hanger support a coiled hose without the mechanism of a full reel, suited to those who don't mind manually coiling the hose.

Reel only vs reel with hose

Many reels are available either "reel only" for pairing with an existing hose, or as a complete set with hose included. If you already own a compatible length of hose, a reel-only option avoids paying for hose you don't need.

Frequently Asked Questions

A wall mounted reel keeps the hose off the ground in a fixed location, good for gardens with an obvious wall position near the tap. A freestanding reel doesn't require wall mounting, better suited where a fixed position isn't practical or convenient.
A hose cart adds wheels, letting you move the full length of hose around a larger garden rather than always dispensing from one fixed point, useful for bigger plots where a static reel would leave some areas hard to reach.
An AutoReel rewinds the hose automatically under spring tension rather than needing to be wound back by hand, speeding up putting the hose away after use.
If you already have a compatible length of hose, a reel-only option saves money by not duplicating what you already own. If you're starting from scratch, a reel with hose included is more convenient.
Match the reel's capacity to the hose length you need for your garden. Smaller reels (10m) suit balconies and patios, mid-range reels (30-40m) suit most standard gardens, and larger reels (60-90m) suit bigger plots or allotments.
