Small Tube & Specialty Clamps
Small tube clamps — known as the Atom range by Doughty — are lightweight aluminium clamps designed for tubes with an external diameter of 25mm to 38mm. They are the go-to solution for hanging fixtures from decorative truss, stand centre tubes, and smaller bars where a standard 48mm hook clamp would not fit.
Specialty Clamps
Side Entry Clamps, Space Savers and Followspot Mounts are low-profile and unusual-angle clamps for specialist rigging applications — situations where a standard clamp cannot fit or would obstruct adjacent fixtures. Side Entry Clamps load from the side rather than the top, allowing fixtures to be positioned between truss webs. Space Savers reduce the footprint when rigging multiple fixtures in tight formations. Followspot Mounts provide a stable platform for operating a followspot from a bar or truss.

Compatible Tube Diameters (Atom Range)
- 25mm — smallest Atom clamp, 21mm wide, M6 bolt fixing. Available as Atom Hook Clamp, Atom Half Coupler and Atom Hanging Clamp with Eye
- 32mm — common on lightweight truss chords and studio stands. Available as Atom Hook Clamp and Atom Half Coupler
- 35mm — M10 bolt fixing, suits a range of stand and truss applications. Available as Atom Hook Clamp and Atom Half Coupler
- 38mm — largest Atom size, M10 bolt fixing, suitable for heavier lightweight truss. Available as Atom Hook Clamp, Atom Half Coupler and Atom Hanging Clamp with Eye

What to Look For
- SWL 100kg — all Atom clamps are rated to 100kg WLL and TÜV certified
- Material — high-tensile extruded aluminium; available in polished silver or powder coated black
- Fixing — captive bolt design prevents the bolt from being lost during rigging
Safety note: Always use a secondary safety bond or safety cable when rigging any fixture overhead, regardless of clamp type.
