IP66 and IP54 junction boxes for outdoor and damp locations
Dencon's IP66 junction boxes are rated for outdoor and washdown environments, available in both black and grey finishes across sizes from 81 x 81mm up to 175 x 125mm. For indoor use where a lighter degree of protection is enough, the IP54 junction box range covers 80mm and 100mm square sizes.
Pattress boxes and dry lining boxes for socket mounting
Pattress boxes give a surface-mounted base for switches and sockets, available in 1-gang and 2-gang formats from 18mm through to 45mm depth, with or without an earth terminal depending on the fitting. For plasterboard walls, the dry lining box range in 1-gang and 2-gang 36mm depth is designed to fit flush into a cut plasterboard opening rather than surface mount.
Trailing sockets and rubber connector plugs for site use
For portable and site power connections, the trailing socket 13A range covers 1-gang and 2-gang formats in black and orange, alongside rubber trailing sockets built for tougher handling. Matching rubber connector plugs and 2-pin variants complete the connection for extension leads and temporary power runs.
Connector strips and compact lever connectors
Dencon's 12 way connector strip is available in 2A, 5A, 15A and 30A ratings, giving a straightforward terminal block for joining multiple conductors. For a faster push-fit alternative, the 3 pole and 5 pole compact lever connectors rated at 32A suit quick, tool-free joints without screw terminals.
Fused spurs and isolator switches
The switched fused spur with pilot lamp gives a visible indication that a fixed appliance circuit is live, while the version without pilot lamp suits installations where that indicator isn't needed. For extractor fans, the 10A fan isolator switch provides a dedicated local isolation point as required by wiring regulations for bathroom and similar fan installations.
Blanking plates, finger plates and converters
A single or double blanking plate neatly covers a redundant back box where a switch or socket has been removed. Finger plates in clear and white finishes protect painted door surfaces around handles, and the 1G to 2G converter socket lets a single gang back box take a double socket without replacing the box itself.
Telephone and coax sockets
Beyond mains power, Dencon covers telephone extension leads in 5m, 10m and 15m lengths, a 1 way telephone socket, and a flush coax TV socket for aerial connections.
