Drywall to wood screws

Drywall to steel screws
For fixing plasterboard onto metal stud framing, DuraSpin's Drywall to Light Steel range covers 25mm, 35mm and 45mm at 3.9mm diameter, while the Drywall to Heavy Steel range steps up to a self-drilling tip in 25mm and 45mm, needed for thicker gauge steel framing that a light steel screw can't penetrate cleanly.
Flooring and wood screws

Choosing the right collated screw for the substrate
Match the screw type to what you're fixing into, not just what you're fixing: drywall-to-wood and drywall-to-steel screws differ significantly in tip design and thread, since a wood screw's coarse thread won't self-tap into steel, and a steel screw's fine thread and self-drilling tip aren't optimised for wood's density.
