Wire Rope

Doughty Galvanised Wire Rope and Black Wire Rope are available in 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm diameters with WLL ratings from 60kg to 400kg. Black wire rope is used where a discreet finish is required backstage or in studio environments. Galvanised wire rope is the standard choice for general rigging and suspension lines.

Cable Grips

Doughty Cable Grips are galvanised wire rope clamps conforming to DIN 741 and DIN 1142 standards, available from 3mm to 10mm wire rope diameter. Used for terminating wire rope ends in suspension systems, safety lines and structural rigging applications.

Reutlinger Cable Suspension System

The Doughty Reutlinger range is a professional cable suspension system for hanging luminaires, scenic elements and studio equipment from wire rope drops. Components are available in three load capacities: 30SV (lighter loads), 50SV (medium loads) and 66SV and 80SV (heavy duty). Each is available with a range of end fittings including ring, fork, hook, male thread and female thread in standard and side-exit wire configurations. The ZW versions include an integrated clamp for tool-free wire rope termination.

  • Wire rope diameter: match the wire rope diameter to your cable grip and Reutlinger system fitting size. Doughty wire rope is available in 2mm to 6mm diameters.
