Doughty Scenery Fixing - Long Flying Iron
Long flying irons are attached to scenery panels for lifting. They are supplied with an M8 Bow Shackle. The flat iron can be used mid-frame where it would not be suitable to use a lipped iron. The lipped flying iron has been designed to lift scenery panels from the lower rail. The lip is generally fitted flush to the lower rail providing a strong lifting source.
