3-IN-ONE® is one of the oldest and most recognised lubricant brands in the world, first sold in 1894 and still found in households, workshops and garages across the UK. The name comes from the original formula's three jobs: it cleans, lubricates and protects against rust in a single application. 3-IN-ONE® Lubricants at MTN Shop UK

Originally launched in 1894 by George W. Cole in the United States as a lubricant for bicycle chains, 3-IN-ONE® went on to become one of the most familiar tins in British workshops, sheds and toolboxes. The brand was acquired by the WD-40 Company in 1995 and now sits alongside its more famous sister brand. The classic formula still does exactly what the name suggests: cleans dirt and grime, lubricates moving parts, and leaves a thin protective film that resists rust and corrosion.

3-IN-ONE® Original Multi-Purpose Drip Oil

The classic red tin with the telescopic spout is what most people picture when they hear the name. The Original Multi-Purpose Drip Oil is a precise applicator, ideal for places where a spray would over apply, such as hinges, locks, sewing machines, fishing reels, model engineering and watchmaking. The flexible telescopic spout (around six inches long) reaches into awkward gaps that a straight nozzle cannot. Available in 100ml and 200ml tins, and also as a 200ml aerosol spray for larger jobs.

3-IN-ONE® White Lithium Spray Grease

The White Lithium Spray Grease 400ml goes on as a liquid for easy penetration into bushings, hinges, latches and gears, then sets into a long lasting grease film. It resists water washout and clings to vertical surfaces, making it the right choice for door hinges, garage door tracks, caravan steps, gate latches and any metal on metal pivot where a thin oil would drain away too quickly.

3-IN-ONE® Silicone Lubricant

The Silicone Lubricant 400ml leaves a clean, dry, non staining film that works on materials where oils would cause problems. Use it on rubber seals (window and door rubbers, sunroof channels), plastics, vinyl, locks with security coatings, drawer runners, blinds, fishing line guides and any surface where you do not want an oily residue. Silicone is water repellent and stays effective across a wide temperature range.

3-IN-ONE® High Performance Penetrant Spray

The High Performance Penetrant Spray 400ml is the product to reach for when a fastener will not move. Designed to creep into seized threads, rusted bolts and stuck mechanisms, it loosens the bond between metal surfaces so that nuts, bolts, hinges and exhaust clamps can be undone without rounding or snapping. Common uses include automotive maintenance, agricultural machinery, marine fittings and any outdoor metalwork that has been exposed to weather.

The Heavy-Duty Cleaner Degreaser 500ml is a powerful cleaner for oily, greasy and dirty surfaces. It cuts through baked on grease and oily residue without prolonged scrubbing, leaving surfaces ready for the next stage of maintenance.

Use the 3-IN-ONE® Silicone Lubricant when you need a clean, dry, non staining film, or when you are lubricating materials that oil could damage. Silicone is the right choice for rubber seals (window and door rubbers, sunroof channels), plastics, vinyl, drawer runners, blinds and locks with security coatings. Apply 3-IN-ONE® High Performance Penetrant Spray generously around the threads and joint and leave it for at least 10 to 15 minutes to creep into the corroded surfaces. For badly seized fasteners, apply a second coat and leave overnight. The penetrant breaks the bond between rusted metal surfaces so that nuts, bolts and exhaust clamps can be undone without rounding or snapping.
