Bench grinders for general sharpening and dressing

The Record Power RSBG8 is a standard 200mm bench grinder, suited to general sharpening, dressing and light metalwork tasks around the workshop, running two wheels for rough and fine grinding in one fixed unit.

Whetstone grinders for edge tool sharpening

Whetstone grinders run at slower speeds than a standard bench grinder, reducing the risk of overheating and drawing the temper out of an edge tool's steel. The Record Power WG200 and WG250 are built specifically for sharpening chisels, plane irons and other woodworking edge tools to a fine, controlled edge. Record Power's chisel and bit jigs pair with these grinders to hold the tool at a consistent angle during sharpening, giving a more repeatable edge than freehand grinding.

Disc sander for finishing work

The Record Power DS300 cast iron disc sander gives a large, flat, fixed sanding surface for squaring edges, shaping small components and finishing work that benefits from a stable reference surface rather than a handheld tool.
