Doughty Six Wheel Carriage
The Doughty studio rail carriages are designed to support a variety of fittings, typically luminaires and curtains/ drapes. This 6 wheel carriage is fitted with a friction brake and a three-point 28mm receiver to suspend equipment with a 28mm diameter Spigot of either Euro or Din Spec.
Manufactured from high tensile aluminium, the 3-point Receiver has been carefully designed to incorporate the following three safety points.
- A 6mm diameter pin designed to take the initial load quickly and safely.
- A standard sword pin allowing 360-degree rotation.
- A Doughty knob which enables a luminaire to be locked at a chosen point of rotation.
Suitable for both the Doughty Studio Rail 60 & 80.
Difference between size 60 and size 80: Studio Rail 80 with the cross-section dimensions of 82mm x 49mm is more heavy-duty than Studio Rail 60 with the cross-section dimensions of 61mm x 35mm. For any inquiries, please contact us via chat.
