Doughty Six Track Professional Stage Curtain Track System

The Doughty Six Track is the professional stage curtain track system of choice for theatres, concert venues, TV studios and large-scale installations worldwide. Manufactured from strong steel with a black powder-coat finish, the Six Track blends seamlessly backstage and is virtually invisible to the audience. It is available as individual components or as complete kits with everything needed for a full installation.

The Six Track is the most versatile system in the Doughty curtain track range, supporting three operating configurations in the same track system: walk-along, line-operated and motorised. Straight sections are available up to 3m and curved sections from 500mm radius. All sections can be cut and re-fitted on site for a precise fit in any venue configuration.

Six Track Configurations

  • Walk-along system: curtains are moved manually along the track by hand. Suitable for smaller theatres and venues where line-operated or motorised systems are not required.
  • Line-operated system: curtains are opened and closed using a pull cord or line. The standard configuration for professional theatres and concert venues.
  • Line-operated with overlap: allows two curtain panels to overlap at the centre of the stage for a clean close. Used in theatres where a centre-split curtain is required.
