Airmaster heating, drying and air purification explained
The Airmaster collection at MTN Shop UK brings together portable electric heating and air-treatment equipment in a single, easy-to-source range. All units are designed for a 240V, 50Hz mains supply and fit a standard 13A BS 1363 plug, which keeps them practical for sites, workshops and lettings where fixed heating is not available. Portable room heaters in the range are built to the BS EN 60335-2-30 appliance safety standard and carry overheat protection as standard.
Heaters: convector, fan, panel and oil-filled
The heating line covers four formats. Convector heaters such as the 520W AIRFW400 Frost Watch hold a low background temperature and switch in automatically when the air drops near freezing, which makes them well suited to void properties and unheated stores. Fan heaters give rapid warm-up: the 500W AIRPTC5 PTC mini and the 2kW AIRPTC2 PTC floor-standing unit use ceramic PTC elements that self-limit their temperature, while the 2.0kW AIRUFH2TN upright and the 3.0kW AIRHTIF3 industrial fan heater move more air for larger volumes. Oil-filled radiators such as the 2.0kW AIRCR2TSL run silently and hold heat after switch-off, typically across three heat settings (for example 500W, 1000W and 1500W on the 1.5kW model), with wheels and a carry handle for moving between rooms. Digital panel heaters add an LCD thermostat adjustable from 5°C to 30°C, a 24/7 programmable timer, a sheathed element with an aluminium diffuser and an anti-frost function.
Dehumidifiers and HEPA air purification
The 380W AIRDH12 dehumidifier extracts up to 12 litres of moisture per day, which suits drying out new plaster and screed, timber stores and damp workshops before second-fix joinery or decorating. The AIRAP22DC HEPA 13 air purifier uses a filter rated to EN 1822 Class H13, capturing at least 99.95% of airborne particles at the most penetrating particle size of around 0.3 microns, useful where fine dust is generated during sanding or cutting.

Joiners and woodworking shops use the oil-filled radiators and dehumidifiers to keep timber stores stable. Site teams and groundworkers rely on the tubular and Frost Watch units for frost protection of plant and pipework, and the 3.0kW industrial fan heater to take the chill off a bay. Plumbers and property managers fit tubular heaters in lofts and outbuildings to guard against burst pipes, while facilities and events crews use the fan heaters for quick spot heating.
Choosing the right Airmaster unit
Match output to volume and duty. For frost protection only, the 120W AIRHTTU2 tubular heater or the 520W Frost Watch are sufficient and cheap to run. For occupied rooms needing steady, silent heat, choose an oil-filled radiator. For rapid warm-up in a workshop or open bay, step up to the 2.0kW or 3.0kW fan heaters. Where damp is the real problem rather than cold, the 12 litre dehumidifier will do more than any heater. For dusty environments, add the HEPA 13 purifier alongside extraction at source.
