Kuzar K-10 Tower Lift

The Kuzar K-10 Tower Lift is a single-operator aluminium truss ground support tower engineered for indoor live events, concerts, and entertainment productions. The tower erects via an integrated steel-cable winch that pivots the structure over the base's ball joints into a fully vertical position, no crew required. A rigid steel base provides the stability needed throughout the lift, while non-slip adjustable feet lock the footprint in place once deployed.

Built around Kuzar's 30 × 30cm truss section using 50mm tubes with 2.5mm wall thickness in 6082-T6 aluminium, the K-10 is supplied as a 7m assembly composed of four sections: 1m + 3m + 2m + 1m.

The working height can be extended up to 8m with optional additional sections. Load is raised and lowered by manual hoist, and the automatic trigger braking system prevents any unintended sleeve descent. Compatible adaptors are available separately for integration with Global Truss F34PL and Global Truss F34 Standard truss sections.

For indoor use only. This product has no wind speed rating and is not approved for outdoor or open-air installations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What standard or certification does the Kuzar K-10 truss tower lift meet?
The Kuzar K-10 is fully compliant with the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and is manufactured under strict CE quality standards in Spain. Structurally, it adheres to international engineering benchmarks including UNE-EN 1999-1-1 for aluminium structure design and UNE-EN ISO 12100 for safety of machinery, ensuring total compliance for commercial event production.
What is the maximum working load limit (WLL) of this truss tower lift?
The Kuzar K-10 truss tower lift features a maximum weight capacity of 500 kg (1102 lb) at its standard operating configuration. When planning stage rigging layouts, the total suspended load, including the truss, lighting fixtures, and cabling, must not exceed this 500 kg working load limit.
Is the Kuzar K-10 compatible with Global Truss and other structural systems?
Yes, the tower natively utilizes Kuzar 30x30 cm square truss profiles built from 50mm tubes. However, specialized adapter plates, such as the Truss Adaptor UN3 or UN5, can be integrated separately to safely bridge and secure the lifting tower with Global Truss F34 Standard and F34PL configurations.
What are the legal requirements for using this rigging tower in the UK?
In the UK, the deployment of this lifting equipment falls strictly under LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998). Users must ensure the tower undergoes a statutory thorough examination by a competent person at least once every 12 months, and it must only be operated indoors as it lacks an outdoor wind speed rating.
How do I inspect the automatic safety system or retire this equipment?
Daily pre-use inspections must verify the fluid movement of the integrated steel-cable winch and check that the automatic trigger safety system, with its rack and trigger mechanical lock, engages instantly on the lifting carriage. The equipment must be retired from service immediately if there is any visible cable fraying, structural deformation in the 6082-T6 aluminium tubes, or mechanical wear to the brake pads.
